Teaching Portfolio for interview...any advice

I am preparing a portfolio for my possible upcoming teacher interviews and wanted to get some advice as to what I should put in it.  ***My teaching experience consists of student teaching and subbing so I don't have years of work from students to include.  Any advice and tips would greatly be appreciated!!

Today I applied for a another position at the school I have been subbing at!! This position is for Kindergarten! The other was for first grade!!  I am so excited to see what happens!!

Although I have thoughts about what I think is best for me I know that the Lord knows what is truly the BEST!! I am thankful that I do not have to worry about it because he already has had the plan set since the beginning!!

I love the idea of having students donate their favorite picture book to the class.  Students enjoy showing their book with their classmates and filling out the donation tag for their book.  This donation tag is placed on the inside cover.  It reads: TO: Ms./Mr.______Class  From:_________.  Students explain why they like the book and share their favorite picture from the book.

The book is read that day or week at school during story time.

Classroom Management
